Indoors
Upon entering this spacious 330 square metres villa, guests will immediately notice the original and warm decoration of its interior.
Renovated with rigour and an undeniable sense of taste, this beautiful 18th century Provencal farmhouse has retained its historical character while being perfectly fitted out for the comfort of its occupants.
The decoration, carefully done, represents perfectly the theme of the "Mas Provençal". Interiors are full of charming ancient objects and family furnitures, such as the piano in the main living area.
The coolness of the stone will be appreciated in summer in this house which also has air conditioning.
On the ground floor, guests will find a cosy sitting area with fireplace, exposed beams and beautifully decorated. This space is ideal for chatting, reading or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation.
On the other side of this room, a door leads to the modern kitchen with dining table. This friendly and well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare and enjoy a good meal.
Upstairs, there is a second lounge (with Smart TV, library and children's toys). On this floor, guests will also find the villa's six beautiful bedrooms, promising restful nights thanks to their high-quality bedding.
The first two bedrooms share a large bathroom (with shower, bath and separate toilet), the third bedroom has a private bathroom and separate toilet, the fourth bedroom has a private shower and the fifth and sixth bedrooms share a bathroom with toilet.
The villa has a fifth bathroom in the pool house, as well as 2 guest toilets in the common areas.
Outdoors
The vast and contemporary exteriors (40,000 square metres) are divided into three main areas, where everyone can live to their heart's content.
In the courtyard, between the old farm buildings, against the stones, there is a lovely planted pergola, perfect for outdoor dining. Guests can also enjoy their meals on the summer terrace, which backs onto the farmhouse, from where they can admire a beautiful view of the garden while enjoying a cool moment.
A little lower down, visitors can appreciate the villa's large pool (12 x 4 metres) with sun loungers and the superb landscape of the surrounding vegetation.
The large covered terrace by the pool offers a breathtaking view and has everything you need for a convivial time (tables, bar and barbecue).
On the lawn, there are also original pergolas, perfect for enjoying the fresh air during the hottest hours.
The house provides pétanque balls (the entire yard in front of the house can be used as a pétanque court thanks to the small gravel similar to that found on a real court, even if this is not its primary function).
Staff & Services
The price includes a weekly cleaning service (3 hours per week), end-of-stay cleaning, outdoor and pool maintenance (pool technician visits on Mondays and Thursdays), replacement of bed linen (every 7 days), toiletries and bath products, 10 Nespresso capsules and a cleaning kit.
Location
Situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux, Villa Venissia is ideally located for visiting the beautiful region of Vaucluse, which is rich in activities, walks and visits. Indeed, in addition to its nature walks, the region has a very rich historical and cultural heritage.
The villages of the Luberon and their charming little streets will invite travellers to stroll around: Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste...
Guests can also visit Avignon and its unique historical sites, such as the "Palais des Papes" and the "Pont d'Avignon".
The property is only a few minutes walk away from the centre of Pernes-les-Fontaines, where there are charming shops and restaurants, but also pretty streets and the 41 fountains that have made it famous.
